This will be my 13th year in education and my 6th year at Dublin High. My experience stems from working with Middle School students all the way to College students.

Education was not my first career as I was in the Entertainment industry prior to teaching. I spent 5 years working as an Associate Producer at ESPN where a lot of my experience in Video Production took place. I was lucky enough to take that experience and use it to teach Video Production at my previous school fas well.

I look forward to a fun an exciting school year! I'm sure many of you would like to know about who is teaching your child so below is a little bit about me.

I am always looking to get involved with the school and the community any way I can! I am a very enthusiastic, dedicated teacher, and always looking for new and exciting ways to keep my students engaged. I hope to see you out at some of our games.

The students in the class will be given the opportunity to write scripts and to create and

produce short films, segments, promotions and other forms of media content. The goal is

for students to learn to tell a complete and meaningful story using the mediums of

creative writing and video production. Students will learn the necessary production

values (content knowledge and skills) to produce media as well as the elements of story

telling and script writing. This course introduces the students to the process of editing

digital video and audio using Adobe Premiere software. The students will learn how to

import digital video, combine video clips by means of cuts and transitions, add titles to

video sequences, and output a finished product. There are now three levels of

Video Production (I,II,III). Video Production I is the intro course to the program followed by Video Production II being the advanced course. Students can then take Video Production III which is an honors course.
